New Build Electrical — Hood County
New Construction Electrical in Granbury, TX
Building a new home or commercial structure in Granbury or Hood County? The electrical system is one of the most critical components of any new build — and getting it right the first time saves time, money, and headaches down the road. Twisted B Electric works alongside builders and general contractors from groundbreaking to final walkthrough, ensuring every phase of the electrical work is completed on schedule and to code.
New construction electrical involves multiple stages: pre-construction planning, rough-in during framing, service entrance and panel installation, low-voltage prewire, device installation during trim-out, and final inspection coordination. Each stage needs to align with the overall build schedule, and delays in electrical work can hold up entire projects.
We understand the pace of construction and the importance of showing up when we say we will. Whether you are a custom home builder, a general contractor, or an owner-builder managing your own project, we communicate clearly and deliver reliable work at every stage.

Common Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
- How do you bid new construction projects?
- We bid based on the electrical plans. If plans are not yet complete, we can provide an allowance based on square footage and scope. Once plans are finalized, we convert to a fixed bid. We do not bill time and materials for new construction unless the scope changes.
- When should we bring you in on a new build?
- The earlier the better. Ideally, we review plans before permits are pulled so we can catch any issues. At minimum, contact us before framing begins so we can schedule the rough-in stage.
- Do you handle low-voltage prewire?
- Yes. We can prewire for data (Ethernet), audio systems, security cameras, doorbell cameras, and speaker systems. It is much easier and cheaper to run these wires during rough-in than after drywall is up.
- Can you prewire for a generator even if we are not installing one now?
- Absolutely. Generator prewire includes running a conduit and possibly installing the transfer switch location. This makes future generator installation much simpler and less expensive. Many homeowners appreciate having this option even if they are not ready to buy a generator immediately.
- How do you coordinate with the general contractor?
- We communicate directly with the GC or project manager to schedule our stages around the overall build timeline. We attend coordination meetings when requested and provide regular updates on our progress.
